All the way from Brazil, Val came to Winnipeg after approved by audition for the Teacher Training Program at Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Val was a ballet dancer for 23 years, ballet teacher for 16 years and professionally 12, studio owner in Brazil, choreography and also a judge.

Despite having graduated in ballet with a mix of Russian and RAD ballet techniques, Val was awarded with credit on her first Cecchetti exam.

Still going deeper in Cecchetti method, Val continues to use this embracing background to build a good and complete ballet class.
