Jen has trained extensively in Hip Hop, Ballet (Cecchetti), Jazz & Tap (A.D.A.P.T), Contemporary, Acro and Baton Twirling. Jen started her dance studies in a studio training competitively in all styles and continued to perform and train after high school at every opportunity she got. Her work as both a performer, competitor, and teacher have provided many opportunities to travel abroad to such places as Ireland, France, Holland, Mexico, and of course all over Canada, and the USA.

Jen is a member of Project dance company, a competitive dance team with which she was able to be apart of the team to be the first from Winnipeg to represent Canada at the HHI world competition. Other awards include International Cup Team Champion, WBTF Worlds 5th place winner, along with numerous choreography awards at competitions including the nomination for Up-and-Coming Choreographer at the Winnipeg Choreographer’s Awards.

Jen is a certified coach under CBTF and MBTSA and strives to promote inclusivity and a positive atmosphere in her teaching practices, encouraging dancers to find their individuality in their expression of movement while still learning the values of being a part of a team.
