Our Mission
Emerge Dance Complex is Manitoba's newest SAFE space for dancers. We strive to bring an inclusive and judgmental-free environment to all of our classes. We pride ourselves on building a community, and family atmosphere. Our highly qualified instructors are here to inspire, support, and help our students emerge into their greatest potential, no matter their age or ability.
Our Core Values
We believe that all dancers should be treated on an equal platform. At Emerge, we promote body positivity and neutrality in our classes, as we want to build up our students confidence and create a collective of acceptance and equality. At Emerge, every body is a "dancer" body, and the mental health of our students, MATTERS. We will practice positive self talk and mindfulness to build up their self-esteem and confidence. Our teachers will go above and beyond to support our students in anyway we can, throughout their dance journey.
Our Vibe
Being a part of Emerge Dance Complex, is so much bigger then winning a trophy or an overall award at competition. We want to help our dancers discover their ability, artistry, and find who they are as a dancer and team member. We will teach our students the importance of team work, and encourage our students to lift each other up. We want to give back to our community, and spread the love and passion we have for dance. We will constantly be seeking new opportunities to continuously step out of our comfort zone and show who we are as a united dance family.
Our Promise
Our promise to our dancers is to always listen, provide encouragement, support and challenge them to keep growing as a dancer and team. We want our dancers and guardians, to always feel safe to come to us with anything, and call Emerge their second home. We offer an open door policy with our studio director and faculty, at all times.
